Introducing K&Co. Small Luxuries
Not every project means renovating your whole home. But every room in it deserves to be done right.
That is the thinking behind K&Co. Small Luxuries, the newest division of Kingdom & Co., built to bring the same design-build approach we are known for to focused, single-room projects across the Las Vegas valley.
What K&Co. Small Luxuries Actually Is
We have spent years building luxury custom homes and full-scale remodels for homeowners who want more than most contractors deliver. That is not going anywhere. Small Luxuries is something we are adding, not something we are replacing.
Here is what we kept hearing. People would see our work on a friend’s house or in our portfolio and reach out about a single bathroom, a kitchen refresh, or a built-in they wanted done right. The honest answer used to be that the project did not fit how we operate. Our process is built around larger scopes, multiple phases of design, full construction management. It did not make sense to run a single bathroom through the same pipeline as a whole-home remodel.
But that always bothered us. The homeowner reaching out about one bathroom still wanted quality. They still cared about tile layout, grout lines, and how the vanity hardware tied into the rest of the space. And we kept sending them elsewhere, knowing most would end up with something mediocre.
So we built a lane for it.
What Falls Under Small Luxuries
Small Luxuries covers the focused, single-room project: bathroom renovations, kitchen refreshes, custom built-ins, flooring replacement, home office buildouts, and single-room updates. The kind of work where you do not need a full design team spending three months on plans, but you still want it done by people who know what they are doing.
It is defined by scope, not budget. A single room can be a simple refresh or a high-end renovation, and either way you get the K&Co. standard. The difference between Small Luxuries and hiring a general contractor off a listings site is that our designers are still involved, we are still pulling material selections, still thinking about how the space connects to the rest of your home, and still managing the build with our own in-house crews through our design-build process. It is a streamlined version of our process, not a stripped-down one.
See It in Action
La Ferme, a Centennial Hills home, is a good example: we reworked a dated kitchen and a tired primary bath into spaces the owners actually love, the same team behind our full renovations, at a scope that fit the project.
Why We’re Doing This Now
A few things lined up. Earlier this year we acquired Canyon Creek Custom Homes and brought John McDonough onto our leadership team. John is a renowned builder throughout the valley, and adding his team and experience gave us the bandwidth to take on more without spreading thin.
Between that, the demand we have been seeing, and a collective 30 years of designing and building across Las Vegas, it felt like the right time to formally open this side of the business instead of continuing to turn people away.
This Is Not a Budget Line
We want to be clear about one thing. K&Co. Small Luxuries is not a budget line. We are not cutting corners, using cheaper materials, or farming work out to subcontractors we do not know. We started this division precisely because we believe a single room deserves the same attention to detail, and the same award-winning standard, we put into a custom home.
If you have wanted to update a space but were not sure it was big enough to call a design-build firm about, it is now. You should love every corner of your home, not just the ones a full renovation happens to reach.
