The Hearthstone is a full-home remodel in The Lakes, Las Vegas. Our clients are a couple who cook together, and they came to us because their kitchen had stopped keeping up with the way they actually lived in it. The whole home followed the kitchen out of the 1990s and into a house that finally feels like theirs.

The Hearthstone is a full-home remodel in The Lakes, Las Vegas. Our clients are a couple who cook together, and they came to us because their kitchen had stopped keeping up with the way they actually lived in it. The whole home followed the kitchen out of the 1990s and into a house that finally feels like theirs.
The kitchen was built around the way this couple cooks together. Light oak lower cabinets, warm-white uppers with brass hardware, and a honed black stone island ground the room, with a custom charcoal and brass range hood over the Wolf cooktop as the centerpiece. Because sourdough is the ritual they share, we built a dedicated proofing station tucked into an appliance garage next to the Wolf double wall ovens, hidden behind a flush cabinet door so the counter reads clean between bakes. In the walk-in pantry, a matching bread hub holds the mixer, the flour jars, and the couple's baking library.
Off the dining room, the butler's pantry runs floor to ceiling in warm-white and light oak. A dark botanical wallpaper anchors the center bay with LED-lit glass-front cabinets framing it, a black soapstone counter holds the espresso setup, and a coffee-maker garage disappears behind cabinet doors when it isn't in use. A Dacor three-zone wine column and an undercounter beverage refrigerator handle everything a dinner party needs before it starts.
