The Carmella Kitchen: Modern Organic Design Built for Entertaining

The existing home had an unusual layout with angled walls and an awkward kitchen footprint that made the space feel choppy and closed off. Kingdom & Co. saw an opportunity where most would see a constraint. During the design phase, the team studied the angles and reworked the floor plan to open the kitchen into the main living area, creating the kind of connected, practical flow the homeowners needed for daily life and large-scale entertaining. The outdated dark cabinetry and heavy finishes were stripped out entirely and replaced with Kingdom & Co. custom light wood flat-panel cabinetry, a handmade zellige tile backsplash, and an oversized marble waterfall island that anchors the room.
