The Haven

Skye Canyon, Northwest Las Vegas

The Haven is a Skye Canyon kitchen remodel where Kingdom & Co. opened up and elevated an everyday kitchen and the living space beside it. We reworked it in a warm two-tone palette: white shaker cabinets paired with light oak, white marble counters, a herringbone marble backsplash, and light wood open shelving. Everything was designed and built by the same in-house team at K&Co., part of Kingdom & Co. We believe you should love every corner of your home, and this before and after is a frame of reference for what is possible in Skye Canyon and Northwest Las Vegas.

The Kitchen We rebuilt the kitchen in a warm two-tone palette: white shaker perimeter cabinets paired with light oak lower cabinets and peninsula, white marble counters and a herringbone marble backsplash. A white farmhouse apron sink, black hardware and faucet, brass-and-glass lantern pendants, light wood open shelving, plantation shutters and an under-counter wine fridge finish the space. Because the same in-house crews that designed it also built it, the finish landed the way it was drawn.

The Open-Concept Living Space The kitchen opens to the living area, so the two were designed as one connected space. The same warm wood tones, crisp white, and black accents carry across, the kind of open-concept flow that makes a home feel larger and more livable.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I plan a kitchen remodel?2026-10-12T10:01:08-07:00

A luxury kitchen remodel moves through four phases:
(1) scope definition — what rooms are affected, whether structural changes are needed, and whether the remodel extends into adjacent living space
(2) design and material selection — floor plan, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, appliances, lighting, and finish selections, developed in parallel so cost impact is visible as decisions are made
(3) permitting and procurement — jurisdictional building permits plus ordering long-lead items (cabinetry, stone, appliances) so they arrive before construction crews need them
(4) construction — demolition, structural work, mechanical/electrical/plumbing, cabinetry install, finish work, and final walkthrough.
Kingdom & Co.’s design-build model keeps all four phases under one integrated team.

Are two-tone kitchens still in style in 2026?2026-10-12T10:01:08-07:00

Yes. Two-tone kitchens — pairing one cabinet color on the perimeter with a contrasting or natural-material color on the island or lower cabinets — remain one of the most-requested kitchen design directions in luxury Las Vegas remodels. The Haven uses this approach: white shaker perimeter cabinets paired with light oak lower cabinets, white marble countertops, a herringbone marble backsplash, and black hardware and faucet. The two-tone palette reads as warm, grounded, and timeless rather than tied to a single-year trend.

Do I need a permit to remodel a kitchen in Las Vegas?2026-07-23T15:31:12-07:00

If the work involves electrical, plumbing, gas, or structural changes, yes. Cosmetic updates like cabinets and countertops usually do not. We handle permitting through the correct jurisdiction, whether that is the City of Las Vegas or Clark County, so you do not have to.

Can you remodel a kitchen and living room at the same time?2026-07-23T15:31:12-07:00

Yes, and it is often the smart way to do it. The Haven is an open-concept kitchen and living space, so we designed the cabinetry, counters, and finishes to read as one connected room. One in-house team handles the whole project under a single contract.

How long does a kitchen remodel take in Las Vegas?2026-10-12T09:58:08-07:00

A typical Custom-tier kitchen remodel in Las Vegas runs 4 to 8 months from signed design contract through final walkthrough. Design and material selection take 2 to 4 months; construction runs 2 to 4 months depending on scope, structural changes, and material lead times. Open-concept projects that extend into adjacent living areas (like The Haven) run on the longer end. Kingdom & Co. provides a week-by-week schedule during the design phase, with a single point of contact throughout.

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Skye Canyon?2026-10-12T09:56:33-07:00

Luxury kitchen remodel pricing in the Las Vegas Valley typically runs $80,000 to $250,000+ depending on scope, layout changes, cabinetry selections, countertop material, and appliance package. A refresh with cabinet re-facing and new countertops lands at the lower end; a full gut-and-reconfigure with custom cabinetry, premium stone, and professional appliances lands at the upper end. Kingdom & Co. delivers a detailed line-item estimate during the design phase, before any construction contract is signed. The Haven kitchen in Skye Canyon falls within this range.
