AI can produce design-style imagery of a house. AI cannot produce buildable plans for a house. The difference matters: a buildable plan is a measured drawing that respects structural reality, accounts for code and permits, specifies real materials with real lead times, and can be handed to a construction team to actually build. AI imagery is an inspiration artifact, not a construction document. A luxury custom home requires the work of designers, architects, structural engineers, and a builder. AI can compress the inspiration phase. It cannot replace the rest of the process.
