This full home remodel in Lake Las Vegas is one of Kingdom & Co.'s most striking before-and-after transformations. The Manhattan went from a home with outdated tones and tired textures to an earthy, stone-focused redesign that elevated every room. We chose natural stone as the foundational material for The Manhattan redesign. Its warmth and texture brought a sense of grounding and sophistication that manufactured alternatives simply cannot match. From the dramatic gray-blue slab countertops and full-height backsplashes in the kitchen to the marble surround of the freestanding soaking tub, we integrated stone elements into every major room of the home. The kitchen anchors The Manhattan with a natural stone waterfall island that serves as the visual and functional centerpiece. Dark walnut cabinetry balances the coolness of the stone, and a concealed range hood keeps the lines clean. A custom built-in wet bar with dark stone backing, glass shelving, and an integrated wine fridge gives the home a sophisticated entertaining space that feels intentional — not added as an afterthought.

The primary bathroom in The Manhattan continues the natural material story. A freestanding white soaking tub sits in its own alcove with white marble slab walls and a light wood plank ceiling that adds warmth overhead. The dual vanity features a light oak floating design with a marble countertop and LED-backlit mirrors, while the walk-in shower has penny tile floors, cream tile walls, and a marble bench with a built-in niche. Even the powder room received the same level of attention — a natural stone waterfall vanity with gray and gold veining, a wood-framed mirror, and minimal fixtures that let the materials speak for themselves. Every space in The Manhattan was designed to feel connected, not like a collection of separate rooms.

The Manhattan: From Dated to Timeless

A home’s materials tell a story. The Manhattan remodel in Lake Las Vegas transformed a home with dated tones into a contemporary space grounded in natural stone and earth tones. The before-and-after reveals the power of thoughtful material selection — when you change what a home is made of, you change how it feels.

Rather than hiding natural materials behind cosmetic updates, Kingdom & Co. made them the foundation of The Manhattan’s design. Natural stone in the kitchen, bathrooms, wet bar, and powder room became the anchoring element that every finish, fixture, and cabinet referenced. The consistent material palette creates a home that flows from room to room without visual interruption — something that’s rare in Las Vegas homes where spaces are often treated independently.

The result is a home that feels grounded and real, not trend-driven. Earth tones, natural stone, dark walnut, and organic textures give The Manhattan a timeless quality that will look as relevant in ten years as it does today.

Material Integrity in The Manhattan Remodel

Kingdom & Co. approaches material selection not as decoration but as design principle. For The Manhattan, that meant choosing natural stone for its authenticity and longevity, selecting earth-tone finishes that age beautifully, and building a palette where every surface supported the overall vision.

This level of material integrity is what separates a remodel from a renovation. A renovation updates surfaces. A remodel like The Manhattan rethinks the entire material story from the ground up — stone floors that connect to stone countertops that connect to stone feature walls, all chosen for how they relate to one another. The warmth of walnut cabinetry, the coolness of gray-blue stone, the softness of oak bathroom vanities — each material was selected for its relationship to the whole.

This approach takes more thought upfront but results in a home that gets better with time rather than looking dated in five years. It’s an approach that Kingdom & Co. brings to every project across Las Vegas, from Lake Las Vegas to Henderson to Summerlin.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between a remodel and a renovation?2026-03-26T10:50:32-07:00

These terms are often used interchangeably, but generally a renovation updates finishes and systems, while a remodel can include structural changes and reconfiguration. Both can range from modest updates to comprehensive transformations.

Can Kingdom & Co. remodel homes in Lake Las Vegas?2026-03-26T10:50:15-07:00

Yes. Kingdom & Co. designs and builds throughout the Las Vegas Valley, including Lake Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, Southern Highlands, and surrounding communities. We handle everything from full home remodels to targeted kitchen and bathroom renovations.

What is an earthy color palette?2026-03-26T10:49:56-07:00

An earthy palette draws from natural colors — warm beiges, soft browns, warm grays, and muted terracotta. These tones create a sense of calm and groundedness. When paired with natural materials like wood and stone, an earthy palette creates spaces that feel both sophisticated and welcoming.

How can natural stone improve a remodel?2026-03-26T10:49:31-07:00

Natural stone — whether granite, marble, limestone, or slate — brings authenticity, durability, and timeless beauty. Unlike manufactured materials, stone ages gracefully and develops character. It’s an investment that pays dividends in both aesthetics and longevity.
