The Lexington

The Lexington is a full-home remodel in Henderson, Nevada, by Kingdom & Co. that required one of the most complex floorplan reconfigurations the team has ever undertaken — and earned the 2026 NARI Remodeler of the Year award for Residential Interior Over $500,000.

The existing layout was a disjointed combination of a formal dining room, an outdated sunken bar, and a nonfunctional kitchen — none of which worked for how the homeowners actually lived. Kingdom & Co. removed the walls between all three rooms and restructured the main living area into a single open-concept kitchen anchored by a thirteen-foot island. In the space where the old bar once stood, the team built a full-service hidden galley pantry with its own sink, beverage refrigerator, and appliance garage. The primary bathroom suite was expanded by eliminating an adjacent guest bathroom to make room for a private sauna, and every surface was rebuilt from the subfloor up with new stone, custom tilework, and bespoke cabinetry.

Throughout the home, Kingdom & Co. installed layered coffered ceilings, custom trimwork on every wall, and built-in cabinetry — all designed, built, and finished on site. The entryway's extremely high ceilings were brought to a more comfortable scale with a coffered ceiling treatment that carries through the kitchen and living room. A bulky corner fireplace in the living room was removed and the wall flattened to center a new linear fireplace with custom white oak built-ins on either side. Every detail was intentional — this is an award-winning home remodel in Las Vegas where Kingdom & Co. rethought how every room connects, functions, and feels.

The Lexington Kitchen: Where Custom Carpentry Meets Everyday Function

The kitchen at The Lexington did not exist in any functional form before Kingdom & Co. rebuilt it. The original layout was a disjointed combination of a formal dining room, a sunken wet bar, and a small closed-off kitchen — three separate rooms that made entertaining and daily cooking equally difficult. Kingdom & Co. removed the walls between all three spaces, eliminated the sunken bar entirely, and designed a single open-concept kitchen centered around a thirteen-foot natural wood island with a white quartz waterfall countertop and seating for four. The island cabinetry was custom built in a shaker door style using rift white oak with a warm Moonlight finish, chosen specifically to add warmth against the white perimeter cabinetry. The perimeter cabinets are Kingdom & Co. custom cabinets in HDF with a Sherwin-Williams Incredible White paint finish. A professional Wolf gas range with a wall-mounted pot filler anchors the cooking wall inside a large alcove, framed by a custom range hood and a white quartz slab backsplash that runs floor to ceiling. Kingdom & Co. carried the coffered ceiling detail from the entryway into the kitchen to visually connect the two spaces, and added new windows flanked by glass-front display cabinets to bring in natural light that the original layout blocked entirely. Pull-out spice organizers, integrated storage drawers, and arched doorways leading to the hidden galley pantry make this a kitchen remodel in Henderson that was designed around how the homeowners actually cook, entertain, and live — not just how it looks.

The Lexington’s Hidden Galley Pantry

The galley pantry at The Lexington is the direct result of one of the most significant structural decisions in the entire remodel. Where an outdated sunken wet bar and closed-off formal dining room once sat, Kingdom & Co. removed the walls, filled the sunken floor, and built a full-service butler’s pantry that runs the entire length of the main kitchen. The homeowners entertain frequently and host overnight guests, so Kingdom & Co. designed this space as a working back-of-house — equipped with its own farmhouse sink, a microwave, a beverage refrigerator, and a small appliance garage, all tucked behind Kingdom & Co. custom maple cabinetry finished in Sherwin-Williams Incredible White. White quartz countertops and a handmade zellige subway tile backsplash line both walls, and Kingdom & Co. cut a new window into the exterior wall to bring in natural light that the original rooms never had. The pantry entrance is through an arched opening in the kitchen wall, keeping it fully accessible during cooking and entertaining but completely hidden from the main living areas. This kind of floorplan reconfiguration — removing entire rooms and replacing them with purpose-built spaces — is what separates a surface-level refresh from a true full home remodel in Henderson. Kingdom & Co. did not just update finishes at The Lexington; they rethought how every square foot of the home functions.

The Lexington Bathroom Remodel: Shower, Steam, Soak, and Sauna

The primary bathroom at The Lexington required the most extensive structural work of any room in the home. Kingdom & Co. removed an adjacent guest bathroom entirely to reclaim the square footage needed to build a private sauna — a feature that would not have fit within the original footprint. With that wall gone, the team redesigned the entire suite to include four distinct zones: a spacious walk-in shower, a custom steam shower, a freestanding soaking tub, and the new sauna room. Every surface was rebuilt from the subfloor up with new stone slabs, custom zellige tile work, and bespoke cabinetry. The dual vanity features Kingdom & Co. custom cabinetry in a shaker door style built from select poplar with a River Rock finish, chosen to contrast the lighter marble surfaces throughout the room. Large-format marble slabs line the shower walls and the accent wall behind the freestanding tub, and handmade zellige tile adds a layered texture that keeps the space from feeling sterile. The sauna itself was constructed in the footprint of the former guest bathroom using warm wood tones and custom finishes that tie back to the natural materials used in the rest of the suite. This is a bathroom remodel in Henderson that goes far beyond cosmetic updates — Kingdom & Co. removed walls, rerouted plumbing, and restructured the entire layout to create a private wellness retreat inside a residential home.

The Lexington: 2026 NARI Remodeler of the Year Winner

The Lexington earned Kingdom & Co. the 2026 NARI Remodeler of the Year award in the Residential Interior Over $500,000 category at the regional level — making it an award-winning remodel in Henderson and one of the most recognized residential projects in the Las Vegas valley. The National Association of the Remodeling Industry evaluates projects on craftsmanship, design execution, problem-solving, and project management — and the scope of work at The Lexington demonstrated all four. Judges reviewed the full range of structural changes: removing a sunken wet bar and formal dining room to build a hidden galley pantry, eliminating a guest bathroom to create a private sauna inside the primary suite, reconfiguring the entryway with layered coffered ceilings to correct the scale of an oversized foyer, and flattening a bulky corner fireplace wall in the living room to center a new linear fireplace with custom white oak built-ins on either side. Every room involved Kingdom & Co. custom cabinetry — each selected for specific door styles, wood species, and finishes suited to the function of that space. Winning a NARI award at this level is not about surface-level finishes — it is about proving that a design-build firm can manage a complex, multi-trade, whole-home remodel from concept through completion without compromising on quality or communication. As a NARI award-winning contractor in Las Vegas, Kingdom & Co. has earned a distinction that fewer than a handful of remodeling firms in the region can claim. For homeowners searching for the best remodeling company in Henderson, Nevada, or the best remodeling company in Las Vegas, this award is a concrete, third-party validation that Kingdom & Co. delivers at the highest level in the industry.
